Pipe trials starts tomorrow

The trials for the IBA 2012 Pipe Pro starts tomorrow and Sandy Beach will be the venue as the world best Women, Men and DK riders via for the prized positions in the main event.

More then 250 riders will battle it out over the weekend with the main event window sliding open on Wednesday the 15th February just in time for an epic swell.

 

Jeff Hubbard has been checking the charts and is excited about the forecast.

 

“ The best bet at this stage is to aim to have the men’s portion of the event start Wednesday continue on Thursday and finish on Friday. Saturday still looks very fun for DK and Women’s to finish”

The Men’s trails draw is being done now and will be available soon.

A bus has been organized by IBA that will take competitors to Sandy beach. It will leave from Pipe at 6am and return in the afternoon for $5 each way.
