Terry McKenna welcomes new IBA GM Pat Caldwell to the team.
The 2012 AGM went down today at Wiamea Falls and the mood was very positive given the recent Pipe Challenge having scored epic surf.
One of the highlights was the voting in of Pat Caldwell (USA) as the new General Manager of the International Bodyboarding Association (non-profit)
Long time GM Terry McKenna stood down from this role to concentrate soley on his duties as IBA World Tour manager.
” I am so happy that Pat is interested in taking over” said Mckenna
” He is a living legend and National treasure. To have someone of his profile in this role is great for the sport”.
” Pat has a few commitments to fulfil before moving to Hawaii so there will be a slow transition as we slowly ease him into the role” added McKenna.
The Men’s, Women & DK tours were discussed in length as the IBA prepares for another amazing year of competition.
